Currently there are three provinces in Canada that require the registration of bedding & furniture products: Quebec, Ontario, and Manitoba. Canadian registration is similar to U.S. registration. Manufacturers register in one province and receive a registration number that can be used in the other two provinces requiring registration. Canada has different Law Label requirements than the U.S. While each country requires its own law label on products, it’s acceptable for both to be attached to the product. U.S. law label must not be covered by the Canadian label in the U.S. and vice versa. Canadian Law Labels can be purchased through American Law Label, Inc. To obtain a quote for registration in Canada, create a new account or login and select a New Registration quote. You can then choose U.S. registration, Canadian registration, or both.
