Many retailers in the U.S. consistently face problems with having products pulled off-sale by state inspectors due to the negligence of their suppliers to get or maintain proper licenses. Rectifying these violations can cost quite a bit of manpower, time and money.
Introducing Vendor Watch
Vendor Watch aids retailers in keeping track of the licenses of the vendors they sell, import or distribute the products of in order to reduce non-compliances arising from onsite state inspections that result in violations an off-sales of products.
How Does it Work?
Vendor Watch gives you a bird's eye view of the current license statuses of your vendors by allowing you remote access to our database - in real time - anytime. All of your vendors' license data including license numbers, effective dates and expiration dates is available at your fingertips. Features allow you to download license copies, search for a specific company, list all of your vendors that have delinquent licenses, list all vendors by a specific product, and more.
Monitoring the real time status of your vendors' licenses allows you to effortlessly address companies which are not properly maintaining licenses in order to avoid violations of those companies' products in your stores.
Certified Vendor Program
The heart of Vendor Watch is the Certified Vendor Program. To be listed as a Certified Vendor, factories are required to submit to Global copies of all their required state licenses for verification by one of our registration experts. Your vendors’ participation in the Certified Vendor Program is necessary for Vendor Watch to work. There is a yearly subscription fee for each vendor, however the use of Vendor Watch is FREE for Retailers!
