Full Service Registration

Global Registration Services, Inc. provides complete U.S. and Canadian registration services for manufacturers around the world of stuffed bedding & furniture products. Any manufacturer who’s bedding and furniture products will be sold in the U.S. or Canada is required to have a Uniform Registration Number (URN) which is displayed on the law labels attached to the products. The general criteria for these types of products is: an article with a hidden filling material that is intended for sitting, sleeping or reclining on.

Our full service registration includes:

- File for and obtaining a new factory URN or a Joint URN between the factory and the importer. This can be done in as little as 1-2 business days.
- Complete all state application forms and send them to the client for signatures.
- Print law label samples to accompany the application as required by each state. The samples are printed on the required Tyvek material and meet the uniform law label specifications of the International Association of Bedding & Furniture Tagging Law Officials (IABFLO).
- Assemble and submit complete registration packets for submission to the required states.

Our online quote system will determine exactly which states will require registration for the specific products you select. When a state receives a registration packet from Global Registration Services, Inc., our contacts there know everything is in proper order. All you need to do is wait for the new licenses to arrive in the mail!
