Testing Samples - OHIO

 

The state of OH is the ONLY state that REQUIRES a sample product be submitted for testing as a requirement of registration. A LICENSE WILL NOT BE ISSUED FROM OH WITHOUT SAMPLE TESTING.

The testing procedure determines whether the filling material statement on the law label (All New Material Consisting Of…) is what is actually in the product. The testing sample is taken apart and it's filling materials are separated and weighed to determine the actual percentages. This must match the description of the filling materials on the provided law labels. Any inconsistencies will need to be corrected before the license can be issued.

During the registration process you will be informed when and how to send the testing samples to the OH lab. An instructional pdf is available after you log on into your account. When the sample arrives at the OH testing lab, it will be matched up with your registration application packet submitted by Global Registration Services, Inc.

Note that there is a fee from the OH lab for the testing and varies on the number of products, or types of products, tested. You will be invoiced directly by the OH lab. Global does not include this undetermined fee in it's services.
